There’s a voice inside you—wise, wild, warm.
She has been with you since the beginning.
Before the world asked you to be quiet.
Before culture asked you to perform.
Before you began to doubt the worth of your words.
For many of us, this voice—our Authentic Voice—has been shamed and shushed.
We learned to silence ourselves in the name of peace.
To stay small. To be liked. To avoid discomfort.
We didn’t just learn this—we inherited it.
Each generation before us carried the weight of silence,
and now we carry the task of releasing it.
Your Authentic Voice is still there.
She remembers who you are.
She holds your desires without shame.
She knows the sound of your “Yes” and the sacred power of your “No.”
But to hear Her, we must quiet the noise.
Because before anything is spoken aloud, it is spoken within.
Reactive Rachael.
People-Pleasing Patricia.
Anxious Anne.
Judgmental Judy.
These are the inner tones so many of us live by—and live from.
But none of them are you.
They’re coping mechanisms. Echoes of past pain.
They were never meant to lead your life.
They were just trying to keep you safe.
To reclaim your voice, you must create space for change.
This is a sacred act. It doesn’t require a stage—just presence.
A journal. A meditation. A quiet room. A boundary drawn.
This is where transformation begins.
And it will take time.
Because this is not a race.
This is the story of your voice—and you are rewriting it with care.
I know this journey intimately.
My own voice was first shushed in Iran, before I could speak Farsi.
Then shamed in the United States, where freedom came wrapped in impossible expectations.
But the most dangerous voice was the one in my own head—the one that said I was never enough.
It nearly cost me my life.
What saved me was listening.
Sitting with my inner voices.
Reclaiming the parts of myself I had pushed away.
That’s why House of Paz exists.
